A very simple melody..But it does the job..It is such a simple song that even I could get the hang after just one hearing..(It usually takes a few). I remember Jagjit Singh ji's concert I attended in Pune a couple of years back. He started with this song and set the pace of a memorable night.
I enjoyed singing this.

Hey Anusha !! You did really well on this one. Keep it up.
Have you tried Jagjit Singhji's "Apni Marzi Se". Its a gazal for male voice by the sound of it BUT give it go I say :)

ha ha yeh. I browsed through and heard tht one. :P Good effort. But after listening to this one - I think yes you can improve on Apni Marzi Se.
ALso try and get onto this one - "Aankhon Me Jal raha hai kyun bujhta nahi ..." I'm sure you'd love singing it. :)
P.S. - I must confess I'm really surprised to ve discovered this though. You probly wasted a few days playin cricket wid us in Pune LOL
